Entrance to the museum is free. However, if you are a physician, you can be granted access to the extensive pathology collection which is located on the top floor. If you bring your credentials with you (I had a copy of my license and my DEA card) go to the main desk and speak to the receptionist. They will lead you to a locker room to store your belongings and then up to the top floor collection. The pathology collection there is used for research and study by the physician and medical students in the area.
How many hours of the day does it take up to visit? Would it be possible to squeeze anything else in on a day trip to London?
A:
It is quite central so if you get there it will take you a good two- three hours to get round and you could do it in a morning, have lunch and head to Oxford Street area easily
