Hi... We are a group with children visiting passikudah in late June. I see a lot of issues with hotels claiming a beachfront, but having a beach strewn with Coral which is impossible to walk on/swim in. We are looking for a typical beach holiday where we want to walk along the beach, swim in the sea and go for watersports. Please advise as to which would be hotels that have a beach front along which we can do these activities. Also, for watersports is it only the passikudah public beach which will have the facilities? Thanks in advance for the help!

The hotels on the northern end of the beach, ie left of the public beach, have an excellent swimmable beach. June is an excellent time to visit, the sea is calm and great weather. For watersports, go to the Marina Hotel by LSR. Hotels on this side I recomennd include Anantaya, The Calm, Uga bay, Malu Malu, The Marina. Finally, this is a good time to visit Srilanka. It's safe, not overcrowded and really good value.
