You can walk there easily from Pythagorion in about 15 min or so, just follow the beach in Southwest direction. The entrance fee was around €5 p.p. There is no guide, but there are somewhat informative signs scattered around. You should definitively also visit the Museum of Archeology in Samos-City afterwards, because it contains all the statues en trinkets found at Heraion and offers a lot more info. It is a 30 min drive by car from Pythagorion though. Hope this helps and enjoy your stay, we know we did.
