Emerald lake is around 20 kms from Ooty and is a really good place for picnic or even to do camping overnight, it is very refreshing and a good place to hang out, it is still not being visited often …Full review by Resort49610211245

What is d best timing to visit emerald lake n Avalanche lake ?
A:
Avoid Rainy Season, the roads are tough and possibility of landslides. Any other season is good. Leave early morning after breakfast and return back to Ooty (or Coonoor) for a late lunch.
