On Tuesday at 10:06 p.m. an updated flood warning was released by the NWS Wilmington NC valid from Wednesday 7 a.m. until Saturday 6:30 a.m. for Bladen and Cumberland counties.
At 11:28 a.m. on Tuesday, the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC released a flood warning valid from Tuesday 9 p.m. until further notice for Pitt County.

WTAJ on MSNAreal flood warning issued for in our regionThe National Weather Service has issued an Areal Flood Warning for Southern Somerset County into Bedford County. The warning will expire at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. There are reports of minor roadway flooding near Meyersdale.
At 6:58 p.m., a severe thunderstorm warning was issued in east-central Wake, northeastern Johnston, Nash, and eastern Franklin counties. It came a minute after the NWS said a severe thunderstorm was located in Elm City, eight miles south of Nashville, moving northeast at 50 m.p.h.
