Parker says ARDOT has utilized a "super brine" mixture of salt brine and beet juice to lower the freezing temperature on our highways and interstates. Although the roads have been treated, Parker still encourages drivers to keep their guard up if they're hitting the roads.

"I would pay special attention to the forecast and, you know, maybe allow just for a little more time Monday morning," a spokesperson said.
