The Juneau County Sheriff's Office reports missing and wanted man Virgil Thew has been caught and is in police custody.

According to the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, Virgil Thew, a man wanted in connection to a triple homicide, is in custody. The arrest ends an over week-long manhunt for Thew, who was wanted in connection with the deaths of an adult and two children in New Lisbon.

The house in which the bodies of 33-year-old Elizabeth Kolba and two girls, 12 and 13, were found Monday, at the corner of West Bridge and North Hanover streets in New Lisbon. Virgil Thew, Kolba's boyfriend, has been charged in Juneau County Court with the triple homicide.

The manhunt for the suspect in a triple homicide has been arrested, according to the Juneau County Sheriff's Office. Virgil Thew, 47, was found Thursday and taken into custody in the city of Elroy. The New Lisbon Police Department said the Juneau County Communication Center received a call about a suspicious person in Elroy just before noon.

Virgil Thew is charged with three counts of first-degree intentional homicide for the death of Elizabeth Kolba, 33, and two girls, ages 12 and 13.
