Food Lion has been hit by a cyberattack. Their parent company detected the intrusion late last week and reached out to law enforcement. In a statement, Food Lion said they've had to take some of their systems offline,

The grocer’s parent company, Ahold Delhaize, said in a statement that it detected the cyberattack late last week.

U.S. supermarket chain Food Lion was recently hit with a cybersecurity attack, the company confirmed last week. Ahold Delhaize announced Friday, Nov. 8 that a “cybersecurity issue” had been recently detected among its USA division and brands.

Parent company, Ahold Delhaize USA, said all of its US stores are open for business as they continue to mitigate the issue.
