ATLANTA — Communities across the country held rallies to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the passing of Rep. John Lewis. They are also part of a National Day of Action called “Good Trouble Lives On.”

Thursday marks five years since the death of John Lewis, a prominent civil rights activist and longtime Georgia congressman.

U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell took time on Monday to remember the late U.S. Rep. John Lewis, marking the fifth anniversary of his passing this week.
