It is no secret that the Los Angeles Chargers need to add another pass catcher to take some of the pressure off of Justin Herbert. Due to the Chargers’ debacle in the playoffs, it was expected that they would draft a wide receiver or tight end with the 22nd pick.

The Los Angeles Chargers used their first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft on North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton. He's a 221-pound bruiser of a back, who also has breakaway speed and above average skill as a pass-catcher.
