After being charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter and armed criminal action in the death of 44-year-old David Clark, a Kansas City man's sentence has been suspended.

Police responded to the shooting around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, finding two men with gunshot wounds near a Northland home. One was pronounced dead Tuesday afternoon, while the other was critically injured.

Kansas City police are investigating the shooting death of a man in an apartment off Manchester Avenue Tuesday afternoon. Officers were called to an apartment complex in the area of 6300 Manchester Ave. around 2:30 p.m. on a reported shooting, said Officer Alayna Gonzalez with the Kansas City Police Department.

Kansas City police are investigating the third homicide of the day. Police are on the scene of a fatal shooting in the 3900 block of Lister Ave.

KCPD said the incident happened near E. 87th Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard just after 7:30 p.m. According to police, officers were called to the area on reports of a shooting. When those officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. EMS was called, and both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
