The really good news is that the deals don't seem to have simmered down at all over the weekend. In the US, for example, you can still save just over $100 off the PS5 Pro, more than $20 off the PlayStation Portal, and up to $20 off almost all DualSense controllers at PlayStation Direct.
As expected, PS5 consoles sold like hotcakes during Black Friday, with the bundles providing the best value overall. The best deal this year was the NBA 2K26 PS5 bundle since it effectively included an additional $70 in value with the pack-in game, although it has since sold out everywhere.
The GPU in the PS5 Pro has 67% more compute units and 28% faster memory than the base PS5 and gives it the power to run demanding games at full 4K resolution without using upscaling tricks. You won’t have to choose between frame rate and resolution anymore when you play games that are optimized for the Pro because the Pro can handle both at the same time.
Amazon slashed pricing across Sony’s entire PlayStation lineup for Black Friday to offset recent price increases triggered by tariff adjustments. The discounts span DualSense controllers, PlayStation VR2 headsets and consoles themselves, and creates rare opportunities to grab Sony hardware below typical street prices.
PlayStation 5 owners can now play the biggest RPG of 2025 for free without a PS Plus subscription and enjoy its massive world.
If you enjoyed building simple (or complex) vehicles to solve puzzles in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, then you’ll absolutely love what PS5 open world Where Winds Meet is cooking.
Experts have reportedly suggested that the all-new Steam Machine could weigh in at around $699 (£527) when it hits stores next year. That's around the same price as the PS5 Pro (when it's not reduced as part of the Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals).
