Chinese online retailer Temu, known for its ultralow prices, is hitting U.S. customers with hefty import charges due to President Donald Trump's trade war. Tariffs imposed by the Trump administration have in some cases more than doubled the prices of items on the e-commerce marketplace.

Temu has a new import charge that more than doubles the price of many items shipped from China, in response to imposed tariffs by the U.S.

The e-commerce site is already collecting 120% tariffs on orders less than $800, given how long it takes to ship from China. But there is a workaround on some items, while supplies last.
