The Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18 to clinch a playoff berth for the first time since the 2015 season. While things looked bleak for the Broncos due to a late season skid, Denver earned the third Wild Card spot after finishing with a 10-7 record.

The Bengals did play the overtime period without starting running back Chase Brown, who suffered an ankle sprain during the fourth quarter. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow broke his own franchise single-season record for passing yardage with his 31-yard toss to Tee Higgins to set up a game-winning touchdown pass to Higgins.

Sean Payton has a monumental task in preparing his team for Sunday's wild-card game at Buffalo, so the second-year Denver Broncos coach isn't wasting time relishing in proving his doubters wrong.
