Coldplay, kiss cam

The "kiss cam" is an iconic feature at US sports stadiums. Mascots, fans, and presenters are all now recreating the viral "kiss cam" incident that took place at a Coldplay concert earlier this week.
The employer of a CEO reportedly seen in a viral "kiss cam" moment at a recent Coldplay concert says it is launching an investigation into the incident. Astronomer, a New York City-based data company, said in a statement Friday that a "formal investigation" has been launched by its board of directors.
Well, something of the sort occurred at the Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium Wednesday night and “awkward” doesn’t begin to describe the moment.
Schadenfreude played no small part in turning a video of two Astronomer executives caught in a romantic moment into an online obsession.
During a recent Coldplay concert, lead singer Chris Martin unintentionally spotlighted an awkward moment in the crowd that quickly went viral.
In an email to the Globe, an Astronomer spokesperson said that company leaders “are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”
Astronomer does work in data integration and management for companies like Apple and Ford. You probably haven’t heard of them until now.
