Australia are thrashed by 174 runs by Sri Lanka in their final one-day international before their Champions Trophy opener against England.

Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka won the toss and elected to bat in the second and final one-day international against Australia at R. Premadasa Stadium on Friday. Australia is preparing for the Champions Trophy tournament later this month in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

Kusal Mendis scored his fifth century and Dunith Wellalage took four wickets as Sri Lanka beat Australia by 174 runs in the second one-day international and swept the two-match series 2-0.
