A wet, cold front is moving through west central and southwest Florida Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. A second drier cold front is expected to move through the area later in the week, bringing freezing temperatures and possibly frost into the Tampa Bay area and Manatee County.

The National Weather Service says on top of a cold, wet Tuesday, a cold front will move through west central and southwest Florida Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, bringing even colder temperatures and rain.

A cold front moving through South Florida during the day Saturday will bring a quick moving line of showers through the area. Behind the front, cooler and drier air will fill back into the area by the afternoon and evening hours.

Cold fronts are expected this week in South Florida, meaning high temperatures will stay in the 60s and 70s with lows in the 50s and even 40s in some areas.
