The county’s unofficial results are showing Democrat Rep. Jim Haadsma with 17,852 votes and Republican challenger Steve Frisbie with 19,233 votes in the race for the 44th District in the Michigan House of Representatives.

A data report from Michigan that listed one voter as having voted 29 times in the election shows a formatting error, according to Michigan officials and the Republican National Committee, who said the glitch was corrected and did not result in extra votes being counted.

Down-ballot, ABC News reports Democrat Rep. Elissa Slotkin is the projected winner a winner in the Michigan Senate race, narrowly fending off a challenge from Republican former U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers. That means the Democrats will hold the seat, which is being vacated by retiring U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow.
