McDonald's is adding sandwiches to it menu nationwide. Also, the Snack Wrap returns this week. How much will it cost?
The Mexican fast food restaurant first released its crispy chicken taco on June 17, and to celebrate the “24th day anniversary,” Taco Bell will be offering rewards members one a la carte Crispy Chicken Taco or Burrito for $2.40 on Thursday, the very same day the Snack Wrap returns to McDonald’s menus nationwide for $2.99.
A new version of the fan favorite, the Snack Wrap is one of McDonald's new McCrispy Strips topped with shredded lettuce and shredded cheese, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. They're available in either Spicy (with a habanero kick) or Ranch (with Ranch dressing and hints of garlic and onion).
McDonald’s first launched the snack wrap in 2006, and the item became a crowd favorite, particularly for the $2 price. The Golden Arches discontinued the Snack Wrap in 2016. In the meantime, other fast food chains are trying to woo McDonald’s fans with their chicken options.
With prices up and foot traffic down, the fast-food giant — and Long Island franchise owners — hope familiar favorites will bring diners back.
