The Avalanche lost 3-2 in overtime to the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday at Ball Arena. Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar scored for Colorado while Jonathan Drouin recorded a pair of assists.

Linesman Jonny Murray was helped off the ice in the second period after taking a hit to the right leg from Colorado Avalanche defenseman Devon Toews, and he missed most of the remainder of the game. Murray resumed his duties at the start of the third period but left soon after and didn't return again as the Jets won 3-2 in overtime.
