The band of snow over the western Florida Panhandle dropped 8.8 inches of snow in Milton, the National Weather Service office in Mobile, Alabama said Tuesday night. In Pensacola, the official snow measurement at 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday was 7.6 inches.
