Federica Brignone wins downhill
Federica Brignone continued her superb season by winning Sunday's super-G at Cortina d'Ampezzo to extend her World Cup lead, as comeback queen Lindsey Vonn crashed out.
In her first race since falling in Cortina, Lindsey Vonn skied out and did not finish while three of her U.S. teammates earned top-11 spots.
Lindsey Vonn posted no result Saturday in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen World Cup downhill race, missing a gate in the final section of the course. Fellow Parkite Lauren Macuga finished in sixth place with a time of 1:36.
