Lions Gate Entertainment completed the full separation of the Lionsgate Studios and Starz businesses into two standalone, publicly traded companies.

The Supreme Court of British Columbia approved the split of the company’s studio business from Starz, the final step to separate the businesses.

Transaction approved by more than 99% of both classes of shareholders. Dual share structure collapses into single class of stock.
