The Minnesota Lynx's Napheesa Collier, an early frontrunner for WNBA MVP, was named one of the captains for the league's All-Star Game.

NEW YORK -- Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier will captain the WNBA All-Star Game next month, the league announced Sunday. Clark received 1,293,526 votes from fans, while Collier had about 100,000 fewer.

Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx are two of the best players in the WNBA, but they will have the opportunity to try their hand as general managers ahead of the league's All-Star Game.
