Gregg Popovich is not expected to return to coach the San Antonio Spurs this season after suffering a stroke in November and his future in the NBA is “uncertain,” according to ESPN’s Shams Charania who cited league sources.

It has been a rough week for the San Antonio Spurs. Coming out of the NBA All-Star break, the team had high hopes to see the De’Aaron Fox and Victor Wembanyama pairing in action. However, a deep vein thrombosis put Wembanyama out for the season.
