Daredevil: Born Again, at least from what we see in this trailer, seems to be a direct continuation of that Netflix universe of shows. Charlie Cox returning as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as his nemesis Kingpin were both set in stone as these characters played by these actors have appeared in MCU Disney Plus shows already.

It’s a full gallery of characters on display, from a retired (temporarily) Matt Murdoch to a now-mayor, still-violent Kingpin. We also see the return of Foggy and Karen, who were originally cut, and maybe even killed offscreen, when the first draft of this show was written, and eventually thrown out. Thank god.
