At Samsung Unpacked S25, Samsung showed off an AI-curated “Now Brief” that transforms the lock screen into a daily report.

There are two major updates that will arrive on the Galaxy S25 series. According to a press release, the first part involves an expansion of Google's AI Overviews to its "visual searches." The company states this expansion into Circle to Search will apply to things circled or highlighted like places, "trending images," "unique objects," and more.

Samsung has built up a substantial collection of artificial intelligence tricks, features and apps. While some of them have been impressive, like live translation and annotation, others (often involving generative AI) aren’t actually helpful — or notable — enough to warrant regular use.
