High profile left winger Zarah Sultana has quit Labour and vowed to launch a new political party with Jeremy Corbyn. That, however, seems to have come as news to him.

LONDON (Reuters) -The former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn announced on Friday he was in talks to start a new political party because Prime Minister Keir Starmer's government had "refused to deliver the change" that voters expected during its first year in office.

Former Labour Party MPs Zarah Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn are to form a new socialist party in the United Kingdom. Referring to the next parliamentary elections, Zarah said, “The choice will be stark: socialism or barbarism.
