With 591 horsepower and a wider, meaner body, few people would call the 2020 Audi RS 6 station wagon understated. But for those few, ABT Sportsline has a solution in the RS6-R.

ABT is only making 125 examples of the RS6-R, and the package adds $75,000 over the $109,000 base price of a 2020 Audi RS6 Avant. Now, that's a lot of money, but you get a lot of goodies in return.

The modifications made to the Audi RS6-R from ABT are largely identical to those of the RS7. As such, it also pumps out 730 hp and 679 lb-ft.

Two years ago, ABT decided the Audi RS6 needed more power, so the German tuner came up with the RS6-R, a station wagon packing no less than 730 hp and 678 lb-ft (920 Nm) of torque.

Performance and Power The core of the ABT RS6-R package is the ABT Power R performance upgrade, which unleashes an extremely sporty 740 hp (544 kW) and 920 Nm in the 4.0-litre V8 TFSI engine.

Audi's twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 is already a beast of a motor. It does duty in the company's RS7 and S7, RS6 and S6, and the A8 and S8. Along with ABT's 730 horses, drivers get 678 lb-ft of torque.

Apparently, ABT Sportsline felt that the 560 hp output of the stock 4.0-liter TFSI-engined Audi RS6 Avant wasn't enough, and tuned the ABT Power S version to produce 700 hp.
