Stolen vehicle pursuit in Los Angeles ends with a crash and rollover, injuring two and causing significant disruption.

A woman was hospitalized after a pursuit driver crashed into her car in downtown Los Angeles Friday morning. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the pursuit began at around 7:25 a.m. The driver of a stolen white pickup truck led officers on a high speed pursuit that ended in a crash on Washington Boulevard and Trinity Street.

The Pentagon is ending the deployment of all but 250 National Guard troops that remained in Los Angeles who were originally sent to the city to deal with protests over the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.

The Pentagon said it was ending the deployment of more National Guard troops that were sent to Los Angeles to respond to anti-ICE protests.

In response to the Pentagon's announcement of the release of the Guardsmen in Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass said on X, "Another win for Los Angeles tonight: 1,000 more troops are retreating."
