A putrid-smelling, not-so-dainty flower bloomed overnight in San Marino. The Huntington Library's Corpse Flower bloom emits the stench of rotten meat, and it attracts the curious who want to see and smell the rare plant.

A large flowering plant named Amorphophallus Titanum — more commonly known as the corpse flower — is set to fully open soon at the Juniper Level Botanical Garden.

For the first time, curators have pollinated a corpse flower hoping to produce two seeds that will grow more flowers.
