Another masterful performance from Jordan Love sent the Green Bay Packers home from Detroit both happy and satisfied.

After winning six out of seven against the Packers from 2022 to 2024, the Lions got swept for the first time since 2020 by their divisional rival. It’s a tough loss for its playoff hopes, as Detroit entered third in the North and out of the postseason.

Here are five takeaways from the triumph that improved Green Bay to 7-3-1. The Vikings mustered just 145 total yards, going 2-of-9 on third down. QB J.J. McCarthy (34.2 passer rating) was sacked five times and intercepted twice. Minnesota's only scores came on a pair of field goals from 50-plus yards.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love passed for 234 yards and four touchdowns while completing 18 of his 30 attempts, as Dontayvion Wicks caught five passes for 94 yards and a touchdown and Christian Watson added 80 yards on three catches for Green Bay (8-3-1).

Three Green Bay Packers made the team’s gameday roster for the first time in 2025 on Thursday. Two didn’t play at all.
