CJ Vergara’s days of being a UFC fighter are over. The UFC Flyweight from San Antonio, Texas made a total of eight walks to the Octagon, his final one coming south of the border at UFC Mexico City.

Submission loss to Chairez marked Vergara's third defeat in a row. In 2:30 of action, Vergara landed six significant strikes. With the loss, Vergara is now 12-7-1 as a pro and 3-5 in the UFC.
