Manchester City’s turbulent season took another major knock on Wednesday after it suffered a calamitous defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League group stage.

Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City met in the UEFA Champions League at Parc des Princes on Wednesday in perhaps the most critical league phase game so far this season. The Ligue 1 titleholders and their English Premier League counterparts are both facing potential elimination from the tournament after poor runs of form this European season.

Manchester City captain Kyle Walker landed in Italy on Thursday for a medical with AC Milan ahead of an expected transfer. The 34-year-old Walker is City’s long-serving right back. But he told manager Pep Guardiola at the start of the month that he wanted to explore a move abroad.

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker is flying to Milan today (Thursday) to complete his loan move to the Serie A club. As part of the deal, Milan hold an option to make the move permanent in the summer.
