The Armed Forces of Haiti (French: Forces Armées d'Haïti, Haitian Creole: Fòs Lame d'Ayiti) are the military forces of the Republic of Haiti, is composed of the Haitian Army, the Haitian Navy, and the Haitian Aviation Corps.
The tank was discovered in 1994 in a jungle clearing near a military camp in Haiti. Although severely rusted, the tank was essen-tially complete, although the breechblock of the tank had been removed and some road wheels were missing. Apparently, the M3A1 had been part of “Baby Doc” Duvalier’s army, the Haitian Defense Force.
