1 year of lion cubs 🧡 🦁 Lioness Winta’s three lion cubs were born on 25 November last year, while Waka’s four cubs were born just a couple of months later. The seven cubs have grown up side by side, with their mothers sharing parental duties just as would in the wild. Sadly three quarters of African lion populations are declining in the wild, but through ZSL we work in the W—Arli-Pendjari conservation complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which holds 90% of the lions remaining in West Africa.
